My Approach
My vision to increase green spaces and GMO education. When you know better you do better. Knowledge is key when it comes to Holistic Wellness. Most do not even know what GMOs are. Well I am here to help using interactive, fun, hands on, and creative activities.
My Story
I fell in love with gardening at a early age however due to changes in my upbringing I lost and forgot that love. I fell in love with non GMO gardening all over again about 6 years ago when it was reintroduced to me by a family friend through community gardening. I recognized my old love right away and I immediately recalled a memory from childhood of my granny, my brother, and I planting a cherry tree in our front yard and it still stands and bears fruit to this day. There is a special feeling you get from planting a seed and watching it grow. The pride and peace of mind you get from knowing exactly what your eating is amazing. I believe in 100% organic non GMO gardening. Since I rediscovered my love I have aquired 2 community gardens in Newark New Jersey. I have and am willing to assit others in community and private gardening.
